Text Utilities
Text utilities are for counting, cleaning, and reshaping copy without sending a document to a cloud editor. This hub lists tools only when they are live in the browser — there is no empty word-counter URL.
Which text utilities are live?
Nothing live in this category yet
This hub stays empty until a tool actually works. We do not publish stub URLs or a coming-soon list that 404s when you click through.
Questions about text utilities
- Is there a word counter on Page Utils yet?
- Not on this hub today. Live text tools will be listed here when they ship. We do not publish /text-utilities/word-counter/ as an empty page, because a stub URL wastes a visit and looks like a tool that failed to load. When a counter or cleaner is actually ready, it will appear in this list and in the sitemap with a working widget.
- Do you store pasted text?
- No. Utilities run locally in the page. Closing the tab drops the buffer. We do not write pasted copy to localStorage, we do not upload it, and we do not require an account. Hosting logs may record that you opened this hub; they do not contain the paragraph you typed into a tool that is not even live yet.
- Are these tools only for English?
- Browser string APIs work with many languages, including those used in India. Behaviour still depends on the specific tool — counting, case changes, and whitespace rules are not identical across scripts. When a text utility ships, its page will say what it does with the characters you paste. Until then this hub stays empty rather than promising support it cannot demonstrate.
- Why not put every idea on a URL now?
- Search engines and humans should not land on 404s. Hubs stay honest about what currently works. A coming-soon dump of word counters and case converters would look busy and fail when you click through. Page Utils adds a path only when the widget runs in the browser, which is why this category can look quiet until the first live helper ships.
