Finance

Finance tools on Page Utils are in-browser calculators for deposits and rates. Live now: a post office FD calculator and an LIC FD calculator — both a check, not a quote from India Post or LIC.

Questions about finance tools

Which finance calculators are live on Page Utils?
Two deposit checkers are live: the Post Office FD calculator and the LIC FD calculator. Both estimate maturity from a principal in rupees, an annual rate you type, and a tenure, using compound interest in your browser. GST, EMI, and other ideas are not given their own URLs until they actually work, so this hub will not send you to a 404. Open either live tool from the list on this page.
Do these finance tools store the numbers I type?
No. Live calculators run entirely in your browser. Principal, rate, and tenure stay in the tab you have open; we do not collect those figures, write them to localStorage, or upload them to Page Utils. Closing the tab drops the numbers. Hosting logs may show that you requested the page, not the amounts you typed into the form.
Are the results official tax or bank figures?
No. Output is a convenience check, not advice from a CA, India Post, LIC, a bank, or a tax authority. Payout rules, TDS, premature-closure penalties, and scheme-specific rounding can differ from the compound formula on these pages. Confirm the relevant circular or illustration before you file, invest, or treat a number as a quote.
Why is there no /in/ URL for Indian finance tools?
Each tool has one canonical address on pageutils.com, with a trailing slash. India is a first-class audience — examples use rupees and India Post or LIC product names — but we do not duplicate pages under a country prefix. Bookmark /finance/post-office-fd-calculator/ or /finance/lic-fd-calculator/ from anywhere, including India.
Will a GST or EMI calculator show up here?
Only when it is actually live. We do not publish placeholder URLs that 404, and we do not list unshipped GST or EMI calculators as if they already work. When a new finance tool ships, it will appear in the live list on this hub and in the site sitemap. Until then, use the two FD checkers linked above.
