Email Extractor
An email extractor finds email addresses in pasted text, logs, or exports and lists the unique ones so you can copy or download them. This page runs a careful common-form matcher in your browser — no upload, no account, and no mail sending. Closing the tab drops the paste. It is a text cleanup helper, not a CRM, not a bulk mailer, and not a banned word-counter stub.
Updated
Paste any block of text that may contain addresses. The workspace lists unique matches (case-insensitive dedupe, first-seen casing kept), shows a count, and lets you copy or download a .txt file. Everything stays in this tab — we do not write the paste to localStorage and we do not upload it.
The matcher covers everyday local@domain.tld forms and strips trailing sentence punctuation. It is not a full RFC 5322 validator, so exotic or deliberately obfuscated addresses may be skipped rather than invented. This is a Text Utilities tool beside URL Encode and HTML Encode — one canonical URL, no second slug.
Paste any text, logs, or export. Matches common local@domain.tld forms in this tab. Duplicates (any casing) count once. Not a full RFC 5322 validator and not a mail sender — nothing is uploaded.
Unique emails
Extracts addresses that look like everyday emails for drafts and cleanup — not a mailer, not a CRM import, and not a banned word-counter. Closing the tab drops the paste.
How does the Email Extractor work?
1. Paste text
Drop notes, logs, or an export into the box. Load example fills a short Chennai-flavored sample with a few fake addresses and noise.
2. Extract locally
A common-form regex finds addresses in this tab. Matches are deduped case-insensitively; the first-seen casing is kept. Nothing is uploaded.
3. Review the unique list
Check the count and the one-per-line list. Empty paste stays empty; no-match paste shows an honest empty state — this tool does not invent emails.
4. Copy or download
Copy the list or download emails.txt. Closing the tab drops the workspace. Need URL percent-encoding or HTML entities instead? Use the other Text Utilities on this hub.
Questions about Email Extractor
- What does this email extractor do?
- It finds email addresses in text you paste and lists the unique ones in your browser. You can copy the list or download a .txt file. Nothing is uploaded and no mail is sent.
- Does it upload my paste or store emails?
- No. Extraction runs entirely in this tab. There is no account, no server-side scanner, and no file upload to Page Utils. We do not write the paste to localStorage. Closing the tab drops the workspace — the same privacy rule as URL Encode and HTML Encode on this hub.
- How accurate is the email regex?
- It matches common local@domain.tld forms and strips trailing punctuation like commas or periods. It is not a full RFC 5322 validator. Unusual quoting, comments, or IP-literal domains may be skipped rather than guessed. Fix or re-paste if a real address was missed.
- Does this tool send email or connect to a mail server?
- No. It only extracts strings that look like addresses. There is no SMTP, no mailto batch, and no CRM sync on this page.
- Is this a word counter?
- No. Page Utils does not publish a word-counter URL. This tool extracts email addresses from text; it does not count words, characters, or reading time.
- Is there a separate /email-extractor-online/ or /extract-emails/ URL?
- No. One canonical address with a trailing slash: /text-utilities/email-extractor/. Support queries like "extract emails from text" can land here; we do not publish stub duplicate slugs.
- Why is this under Text Utilities?
- Pulling addresses from a paste is a small text transform beside URL Encode, HTML Encode, and Markdown helpers. Developer hub stays tokens, JSON, UUID, Base64, and formatters. Finance tools stay education-only deposit math and are not related chips here.
- What happens when I close the tab?
- The paste and the extracted list clear with the tab. Nothing was uploaded and nothing was written to localStorage, so there is nothing left on Page Utils servers to delete.
What else can I open?

These tools run in your browser. Page Utils does not store, upload, or write to localStorage the keys, tokens, or text you paste. Results are a convenience aid, not legal, tax, or security advice.
